hi...i m on 3.52M33-4.but i tried goin on to 3.71m33-2.it didnt work tho...i put 371.PBP in Update folder which was in GAME folder...but wen i go into the psp under MS...it shows Corrupted FIle...wat did i do wrong ?? did i miss something

format u memstik and put 3.71 m33 FW150 addon (KERNEL)and install ,later put the update 3.71 m33-2 on game folder to install .
that's all,very eay

You need to update to 3.71 M33 first then 3.71 M33-2. Go HERE for a guide on upgrading to 3.71 M33-2 + 1.50 ADD ON-2.

Stay at 3.52 M33, its more stable and has support for most homebrew and plugins. Plus, you need the 1.50 addon to play 1.50 homebrew if you get 3.71 M33!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3.71 M33-2 + 1.50 ADD ON-2 is just as stable as 3.52 M33-2.
Plus most plugins and custom themes have been ported for 3.71 M33-2 already and homebrew isn't an issue if you have the 1.50 ADD ON installed.
As to wichozzz suggestion you don't have to install the 1.50 ADD ON first. Think about it. 3.71 M33 was released first before the 1.50 ADD ON was released so it is some other issue (It shouldn't make a difference but make sure the kernel is set to 3.52 in recovery menu for the GAME folder).
Follow the guide I linked to above you should have no issues.

well i already upgraded n thanks wichozzz...the files in the site u gave worked...i did the same b4 too but dont know wat happened..it now works.now i gotto put various themes on.lol

i like the 3.71m33-2 themes n i play isos n umds only.dont use lot of plugins so i m alrite.

wichozzz never gave you a link to files plus the advice he gave wouldn't have mattered in your case. You do not have to install the 1.50 ADD ON first before installing the 3.71 M33 custom firmware.

I use some of the old 3.03 oe-c plugins that havent been ported to 3.52-3.71 m33, which oddly enough run fine on my psp. As for homebrew, everything has been ported over to 3.71 so w/e.

u guys know how to install themes w/o flashin ???? some1 said create a folder called THEME in root n place ptf fiiles in em...but it dint work,,,is there otherway w/o flashin

You cant install themes without flashing, I dont know if m33 supports .ptf files which are official Sony themes.

The PTF files go into the /PSP/THEME folder. You should already have it. If you didn't then backup your memory stick to PC then format your memory Stick via System Settings to make sure you get all the correct folder directories made. Now drag your backup files back to Memory Stick.
After you place the PTF file in the /PSP/THEME folder go to Theme Settings and select the theme from the list.
If you want to flash the flash0 then go HERE and follow the guide on how to back up your flash0 files. Then download 3.71 M33 compatible themes to flash to the flash0.

Make sure you backup flash0 files correctly and use a theme compatible for 3.71 M33 custom firmware.

I have followed ur guide in upgrading my 3.03OEA to 3.52M33 but when I was trying to download 3.52M33-4, there's some error with the d/l website. Can u u/l again? Thank you so much.
As for the Memory Root u mentioned in the 3.52M33 to 3.52M33-4, i can't find it. I hv format my memory stick a lot of times but inside ISO file, there's nothing? Please advise, I would like to upgrade to 3.71 but now I'm stucked.
