Best Burner for backing up Xbox 360 games?

I have a samsung drive to rip from the original, and have tried a number of times, with different media (not verbs) and all i get is coasters.

I want a drive that is as versatile as possible, so when you cant get hold of verbs, there are other options.

Whats the best burner to get? Anyone have a burner that they have has success with using verbs and other media?

It is really not the burner that is the problem most of the time. Pretty much any decent burner that can do dual layer will work. The disc quality makes a big difference in how well they burn and play in your system.
I personally like BenQ burners that can use the Qsuite 2.0 software. I have a DW1655 and have been nothing but happy with it from day one. With the Qsuite 2.0 i set my booktype for all DVD+R and DVD+R DL to burn as DVD-Rom and i never have to worry about it again. Plus it has a lot of other great settings that you can play with. And it will do Lightscribe if that interests you.

U can get Verbatims at Best buy for $30, even if they are OUT of stock tell the salesman u want to buy some and pick them up when they re stiock, which works great if u want to buy 2 or more packs.

I would stick to verbatim since I see no one w/prob. with them. The extra cost will go along way since you keep trying different DVD+R DL brands. The link below will show you the DVD BURNER I have, but I got mine when it was $50. Also go ahead and pick up the Verbatim from bestbuy since they are really really cheap right now. or go to microcenter.com to buy them cheap also.

I usually only buy Verbatims myself and have had zero problems.
You can get them for a good price at Newegg.com or supermediastore.com if you are able to buy online.
I never buy the white top printable type, only the 2.4X to 6X Verbatim DVD+R DL
