I am looking for a way to get my PSP movie to work with a srt file rather than burn to DVD and ripping from it to there. Is there any way to convert the PSP movie with .srt file to work with in the PSP?

srt files dont actually contain any video data, they are subtitle files that can be merged with a video file to have subtitles

not sure if it will hardcode them into the movie. it does however have a subtitle viewer. im pretty sure you just put the subtitle file with the .pmp file and you can open it up during the play of your video on your psp. i cant get into winnydows website right now because my work has that site blocked due to "free software".

im curious though, are you trying to watch anime on your psp? and if so, what format are the videos in? when i have a .mkv video, i use xvid4psp because it gives you the options of choosing whatever language and subtitles you wish to rip from that file and those get hardcoded into the .pmp video.
