Hello All,

I bought a PSP SLIM on Ebay, Its described as "Firmware of Console is installed with 1.50 with 3.60 M33 ".

I understand that this means I can play back up ISO's of the games I own, but how do I go about doing this. I now how to get ISO's and have a 4gb memory stick, do I need to use dev hook or something like that to play them? Where do I put the files?

Is this the latest version of firmware or should i have it upgraded, if so can i do this myself or is it something I should have aomebody who knows what they are doing carry out? I'm hearing of Pandoras box etc and have no idea what it is. If someone could help me out I would be greatful.

Thanks Guys......

Barry

Firmware version 3.71 M33-2 is the latest custom firmware release for the PSP.

ISO's should be put on the root of your memory stick in a folder called ISO, ex. X:\ISO\pspgame.iso (You should not require devhook)

If you would like to update to 3.71 M33-2 check out this post:

there is no such thing as psp slim with 1.50. the lowest firmware of the psp slim is 3.60. 1.50 is not accepted by the psp slim.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

Guys,

Thanks for that, great that it runs ISO's without dev hook etc. Does it run CSO's?

Great thread on updating the slim aswell.

Much appreciated.

Yes it will run .CSO's too, just put them in the ISO folder.

As for what this means, (since Slim's don't support 1.50) I think the describer was trying to say that it was upgrade to 3.60 M33 using a Fat running 1.50 for the Battery and Mem stick.

PSP Slim 3.60 + Hardmod Battery = 3.71 M33-2
