I went thru the serial checker and it said it wasn't a D2C. It's an older model, LU1015xxx. After ordering the Wiikey, getting it, and opening up the console, come to find I did have a D2C. If anyone wants this key at half price, PM me.

You should double check it... I almost thought mine was a d2c at first, but then re-read the top of the chip. It said gc2-d2b. Next time I'll uncross my eyes before I read things.

I'll look one more time, but it does say D2C on it. I looked twice already. Did yours say D2C anywhere on the chip?

The one closest to where the WiiKey solder points are had only the following letters: "GC2-D2B"

I checked. Mine definitely says D2C. You can't go solely by the serial number.
