Can All Sony Firmware Be Downgraded ?

Hope it's not a silly question. Just that it's been a really long time since I downgraded my last psp and I am buying a new one for xmas for my neice. I did hear awhile back that v3.71 can be downgraded and that t082 psps can also be downgraded. So I guess all I need to know can I walk into the shop and buy a new one that can be downgraded?

wat kind of psp are u buying for her, slim or phat?
phat is easier to downgrade as with the slim u need a pandora battery to do any downgrading.

any psp that has firmware 3.51 or higher will require a pandora's battery and a magic memory stick.

BUT, to get those two items, you will need to use a psp that has custom firmware already. it's the easiest way to make them.

ebay isnt really a good idea cause most of the things u buy may be fake and not work so its easier if u send it to like a friend ro someone u know to do it for u. the battery and the mem stick.
