Help with Wiikey Mod Chip!

I've had a Wiikey modchip installed by a professional. Third install he's done, so I'm pretty confident it's right.

Using LG drive to read, Pioneer drive to burn, Image Burn 2.2 software, Verbatim discs, and have "Successfully Finished" the backup process on four games. None of which play on the console. I keep getting "disc read error, consult your manual".

Any suggestions? I have not run any setup or config disks. Is that required?

do any scene-releases work? If they do then you are doing something wrong. If you can't download a scene-release and have it work then the chip isn't installed right.
