3.52MM3 update 4?

Okay, I successfully updated to 3.52 MM3 from a pristine 1.50 version. But whenever I try to run update 4, the PSP reboots and gives this error:
"The game could not be started (80020148)"

However, 3.52 still runs fine, and I can actually play Dracula X Chronicles. So I have two questions: what went wrong with the update to 4, and what am I missing out on by not updating to 3.7x? Can I still emulate games?

put a umd in the drive

3.71 just dont run plugins most plugins have been updated to run on 3.71

There has to be a UMD in the drive to run update 4? none of the guides stated this.

so you wanna get technical...

How To Fix This Error:

Go on to Recovery Mode on your PSP.
Go on to Configuration Settings
Go to Use NO-UMD and disable it
Go Back To Advanced Settings
Go To Advanced Configuration
Disable all three items in that menu

dude the problem is simple

just put that m33-4 update in the folder PSP/GAME150

i think u put it in GAME thats why its not starting

either way or u can go to recovery mode to change the kernel to 1.50 in which u can put the update in GAME folder

u were 1.50 to begin with.. but u were not after u flashed to 3.52m33 -.-

so just throw the update into GAME150 -.-
