Hey everyone, back with another fairly simple question!
I've recently gotten a new custom XMB put on my memory stick. I'm currently at 3.52 M33-4, and my plan is to upgrade to 3.71 M33-2. My question is, will having the custom XMB create any problems when I upgrade? Should I restore the XMB to the original?
I dont think so, cuase 3.71 m33 has already its own custom themes, you can use the Pandora Battery to do it, its easier and there is NO Chance of bricking, I have done it with a lot of custom firmwares and sony firmwares, good luck!
what flashing really do is just deleting ur flash0 and creating a new one.. thus it is actually possible if u replace a flash0 from 3.71m33 into ur psp u will have a 3.71m33 psp
provided that u have the same mother board and so on..

Hmmmm....I don't really know all that much about Pandora's Battery. The only thing I'm sure of is that it is used to downgrade a slim PSP. Would you happen to know or have a link to some sort of tutorial that might aid my situation?
From what I'm gathering, it's not really a big deal to change it back to normal. However the custom XMB I'm using is 3.52 M33 specific. I'm not too sure if upgrading will just replace all the files (thus ending up with the plain old XMB once I've upgraded to 3.71 M33-2), or if the custom XMB will remain the same, or if it will lead to problems.
Maybe I should take the long safe route and re-apply the original XMB, and then upgrade from there. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated and greatly considered!!! Thanks to all for the assistance!!
i have done it many times with my psp n no probs happened so far..when u upgrade,it will automatically flash all of ur psp's system back to normal.anyway its up to u m8,gud luck.look at the stickies for detailed guides...
