Ive had it!!!!!!!!!
Nothing but problems with it. No games i like! Was waiting for PES2008 for sooooooo long and its a big pile of Horse s!!!T! Sound wont work!! Crashes all the time!! Wont start up for PS2 games!! And now to add insult to injury, it wont read any discs now.
Ive been mocked, laught at, teased and god knows what else for buying a PS3 from people who own 360's telling me what a great console they have and how they all meet up to play the great games they got. All the time ive been loyal and defended my PS3 "you just wait lads".
Well im tired of defending this piece of CRAP!! Pro 2008 was my come back and its total CRAP{_!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wheres metal gear solid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wheres GTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im Uk i stayed up till 12 midnight to get a console first only to find they couldnt sell them Sony charged me £500 for the console only thats $1000 US BAD BHOYS! And now what i take my broken PS3 back to the shop only for the guy to say "ohhhhhh we dont do 60 gig PS3's Sony are fazing them out" THEN! i find out that Sony just knocked £200 off the price so why have a bought this system for £500? I only played Oblivion ( which is very good ) and PES6 on it!

I still wont buy a 360 tho only cos i dont like the joystick!

Why should i wait i spent so much money. Listen guys I was all sony i had a PS1 and 2. They made 2 great consoles. I bought the 1 and 2 on launch day and i remember the PS2's slow start. BUT i remember that start sequence on Tekken Tag ( even tho i dont like them kind of games ) and even tho i dont like snow boarding i loved SSX. THEY made the £300 i spent 10(ish) years ago worth the money. I put them games on and thought Jesus PS2 is gonna be massive. Then i think i bought GTA3 and i nearly s@@t my pants! It wqas amasing i sat there n said the words i always said whaen i was a kid.... "This is arcade graphics man" Hey? we all used to say that.
Any way I bought this Ps3 what have i got thats blown me away?
NOTHING!

You no wat all the lads were sayin FIFA is the best im like " LADS calm domn u no nuthin ive been playin PES since day 1 and allthough it aint got the best graphics its all about the PLAYABILITY BABY!" Well i played PES2008 and it sucks!! The frame rate and slow down is unforgivable its a pile of trash.
So bak to my point nuthin thats made me think i spent £500 ($1000) for any good reason. Ive played no games i like and now the price has dropped AND my console is broke!!

ur experiencing probelems most of uz ent my ps3 is workin perfectly pro evo is workin gud besides online is laggin but i would giv the ps3 bak and get another 1 instead...and xbox future is not lukin bright ps3 future is lukin very bright as they havnt even unlocked its full powers, for example the cod4 graphics are ''supposed'' to b better on ps3 slightly

You sir, can kiss mine.
I haven't had ONE problem with my PS3 since I purchased it in May. I game on it ALL the time and I don't recall ever having anything go wrong. The only thing was there wasn't a very good game selection then, but I'm so glad I hung tough with Resistance. (Never really got bored with it by the way..) Now there's so many good games announced, and many good ones out, even if they ARE multi-platform. Warhawk is AWESOME, and the new Tony Hawk is pretty good as well. Guitar Hero 3 should be great. You're the one of the few select people that has actually had a problem with their PS3, Sony must really hate you.

x2 if u dont like it than get a 360, i love my 360, but i also hav the patience to wait to see what the ps3 can push out i mean the 360 has been out at lot longer i dont know why ppl dont get that, dont compare it to it untill its been out just as long, and there 2 completely different systems go pinch one out n relax either wait it out or get a 360 its not brain surgery. and friggin send it to sony ur waisting just as much time by keep bringing it back to the store.no product is 100% garanteed that every single one will work n the 360 can testify to that im on my second one and its starting to give me problems again lol, but its all gravy. I know sony cares more about me and the baby im going to hav with them .

Maybe your shoutin to much at your PS3 and your scaring the sh*te out of it.
I have both consoles, both got at launch and not one problem do i have with either.
Maybe you just got unlucky mate, Sony by law, must replace your console with the same model.

I like my Ps3 i always play Resistance and Warhawk, Pro evo has lag online but apparently that will be fixed because Konami sent a message to every online user. Single player or offline multiplayer is good!
Just think of this, if you get a 360 you wouldnt be getting

any many more, iam currently angry with sony too, the harddrive gets corrupted i open it up to restore the harddrive using my laptop because the ps3 wont even boot to the XMB FFS. Then i open up the screws with the correct screwdriver than they turn into round screws they made them like dough no woner they gave the number for replacement screws, now i have to spend £70+ just to restore the harddrive.

Obviously you didnt read my post in enough detail. I dont want a 360 I want the PS3 to be as amasing as the PS1 & PS2 that i loved were.

err why should i wait? I paid £500 for my PS3 and saved for 5 months why am i gonna be happy with waiting. Im angry because i paid £500 for a system that has no games and the game i was waiting for is below standard! Now they lower the price?! Its unacceptable im the loyal customer, i paid the money and i feel like sony took it and laught at me. Remember the Jaguar? LOL that was the most powerful console at the time it was relesed. But it had no games and ended up being the reason Atari left the hardware business.
I like Sony ok? Im not trying to diss them. I was a loyal fan BUT ( to coin a English frase ) they have took the p*$$.
Now my system broke.
Can any1 say that they enjoyed Motorstorm or Resistance Better than SSX or Tekkan? You could see the leap last time you new you was at the cutting edge thats why you loved Sony like me.
BUT all this defending your own brand has got to stop. Im a customer first and a Sony fan second. Like i said i dont like the XBOX i think its an inferiour console but im not happy with Sonys launch and the way they have disrespected the loyal consumers that "trusted" the brand name and bouhgt the console at launch only to be dissapointed.
Open your eyes you have a good machine but dont be afraid to critacise it thats the only way Sony will kik there ass into gear.

Just because i live in london doesnt mean im rich lol.
I thought getaway was a good game, a bit overhyped but i enjoyed it.
Resistance fall of man is one of my favourite games and i have played alot, im still playing online for nearly 7 months and still not tired of it. If the games that are out aint the type of games you like what are?
