I GOT A 3.71 M33 FIRMWARE BUT EVERYTIME I DOWNLOADED GAMES THERE IS AN 80020148 ERROR..

BUT WHEN MY MATE INSTALLED GAMES FOR ME IT WORK..

HOW IS IT??

dunt post all in capitals. its against the rules, read them before further posting. you have to enable NO UMD in you recover/vsh menu for them to work.

turn ur psp off completely and turn back on holding the R-trigger. then go to configuration/ umd mode : sony np9660.

when i hold the R trigger before opening ..nothing happen..

1. Turn psp on
2. Push switch up to turn off psp but keep it pressed up for about 5 seconds
3. press in the r-trigger (keep it pressed) and turn the psp on

i got a 3.71 m33 firmware. what should be the settings in ny recovery mode bcoz i still cant play games there always some error messages

Configuration: UMD MODE: SONY NP9660

Advanced/Advanced Config.: Enable plain modules in umd/iso.

those should get them working.
