Couple of days ago I had to reinstall XP service pack 2 since my hd crashed.
In anycase, I have ablosutley no software installed except spyware doctor & latest nortion antivirus.
I've notied that I keep getting internet explorer error when I am in a site or jumping from one to another.
I get "INTERNET EXPLORER ENCOUNTERED PROBLEM & NEEDS TO CLOSE"
It seems quite a few people are faced with this issue, some say there seems to be some kind of conflict between service pack 2 & new norton antivirus "Symantwec endpoint protection"
Is there anything I can do or is it indeed windows issue which needs to be fixed by them.
Yes, I'm using IE 7
I didn't have this issue before since I was using IE6 but I thought to give IE7 a shot since I was reinstalling windows.
Should I go back to IE6?
Another issue with spyware doctor.
Everytime open IE 7, change site, etc,,, this big spyware doctor logo comes in the middle of screen, it's about 3" x 5" (Blue/white)
"SPYWARE DOCTOR / PROTECTED BY SPYWARE DOCTOR"
It'll go away in less than a minute but it's extremely pain in the neck when you see this blue/white logo come on everytime you go to a site or change. Should I also remove spyware doctor completely?
i don't think reverting back to IE 6 would help, if anything try firefox instead
I would dump norton also and get something better
there is probably a setting in spyware doctor that would fix that popup. i have never used the program so I'm not sure how good it is. I use several , theres one in my Trend Micro program plus i use ad/aware SE and the best spyware program I've every used is STOPzilla this program fines everything
