Bad media forcing the laser?

I got some games burned to some Ridata media, they don´t show any slowdown, any noise or any other indicator that there is a problem, but it keeps coming to my head that I should reburn them with Verbatin or else I would be lowering the laser lifetime...

Now, if theres no noise or slowdown, is there any reason for me to believe that these not so good quality discs are forcing the laser?

You want an accurate way to tell? Do a scan with Nero info tool or any dvd reading program. You'll see lower write errors with verbs.

The lower the errors the less the laser has to work. the more a laser works, the shorter the life.

lol if you here a sound or notice a slowdown then its probably too late most of the time...just like a car :)
