Hi All,
Can somebody please explain me in lucid terms if possible
I have an original PSP firmware 1.5 on which Devhook .52 is installed.
I can easily remove Devhook to restore my PSP to original 1.5
now I may probably install m33 3.52 using guides in this forum
My question is, can I again go back to my Original 1.5
from m33 3.52 OR I cannot; if I can is it a very complicated process.
Please assist me
Thanks

It's all nice and easy, if you managed to install DevHook then you can manage custom firmware... they're pretty simple.
Once you have 3.52 M33-4 you won't want to go back to 1.50 anyway, but, yes, its easy to go back down to 1.50 again (Takes about 5mins), you do this through the recovery menu having found the "recovery folder".
PSP, all the way from 1.00 to 5.50 GEN D2 - DS Lite w/ M3DS Real (M3 Sakura v1.34)
PS3 3.01 - iPod Touch 2G 16GB Jailbroken - Xbox 360 60GB - PC, Q6600, 3GB DDR2, GTX260 (216) 896MB

Shokz many thanks...
Quote: you do this through the recovery menu having found the "recovery folder".
so this recovery menu would be available when I have m33 custom firmware but for the recovery folder do I need to do something special [something like uninstall info on Windows] while installing m33. Please let me know
Thanks

Every custom firmware has a rcovery menu, and every custom firmware uses the same generic recovery folder if you want to downgrade, you can probably find it quite easily through google... but no, you don't have to do anything special to make it work. Downgrading back down to 1.50 is probably more straight forward than upgrading to M33 in the first place :)

Thanks Shokz for your time...
so I would have a recovery menu in-built and based upon some threads I did a
Google "1.50 recovery winstaller" or "1.50 recovery folder"]
and followed link
http://www.mypsp.com.au/GuideDetail.aspx?id=186
something about 1.50 Recovery Winstaller
but couldn't make much from it.
what is this Recovery installer, can you tell me
Thanks

Yes, the recovery menu is built in, though it's used for more things than just "recovering", there's lot's of options in there that you'll find useful some time or another.
The recovery winstaller is a program that runs on your computer and writes the right files to your memory stick for you :)
Here's the link to the download from the site you posted:

Install 3.52M33-4, then install the recovery folder, though note that there's not much point in it taking up space on your memory card unless you plan on downgrading. Through normal use you don't have to keep it on your card.
