hi, i have got a problem uploading gba games. i have installed the both gpsp folder and gpsp%. i have the bios too. the gpsp worked fine but when i tried to upload the game is says "the game could not be started (8002014C)"
my gpsp% and game150 folders are shown as corrupted.
so i out
psp/game/gpsp <--bios file
psp/game/gpsp%
psp/game/game150 <--i put all the .gba format games here.
did i do anything wrong? i have read many threads but i am not sure what to do next as i have tried moving the folder here and there but none worked.
i am currently having a psp slim with 3.71 m33-2
thanks in advance. your help is greatly appreciated. i really want to play final fantasy games.

Downgrade to 1.50 using GTA LCS Unpatched, Lumines or a Pandora's Battery & Magic memory stick.

Is there a 'Safe' way to do this, without risking bricking my PSP?

No :)
(pandora is 0% chance risk tho, maybe 3.03 HEN can do it... probly not tho, very little homebrew runs with HEN firmwares).

You'll need a Pandora Battery and a Magic Memory Stick to downgrade OFW 3.72. They can only be created with a PSP already running custom firmware or OFW 1.5... or you could do what I did and hardmod the battery to Pandora, but I don't recommend it because you risk blowing up the battery if you unsolder the pin, plus it can't be converted back that way, so you'll need another battery...
My PSP History :: 2.71 OFW -> 3.71 OFW -> 3.71 M33 via PB -> 1.5 -> 3.71 M33 -> 3.71 M33-3

You can also try this GBA emulator
Unofficial gpSP Kai v3-2 Test 08
EDIT: It has way more stability than the official gpSP on some games and doesn't crash on other games..and it has many more options on the menu than the normal gpSP
