LG GSA-H55N bitsetting/scanning capable?

I need a new DVD reader/burner, and this LG GSA-H55N (new LG drive) model seems to be the best cost benefit around, however, I have no clue on how to find out if it have bitsetting...

The seller looked for bitsetting in the manual and found no info about it.

Could someone help me?
