never mind this is what was wrong;

i had to rename the update.pbp to just update.
my .PBP extension hidden. so the psp was making the file update.pbp.pbp (to many .pbp there)

I got up to 3.52 m33-4 - it says for the 3.71 to run the 1.50 kernal from xmb under the game option, so I may be unclear about this but let me know.

I loaded into regular psp mode checked the game memory stick and i have all the stuff there ACCEPT this so call 1.50 kernal patch, i even tried to download one and put it there and it doesnt work, Some of the details of my psp are that it is infact a TA-082, so im not sure if i need to be doing something with IDstorage or what? can someone give me a hand on this ?

Ive tried so many times in different ways i ended up bricking and unbricking my psp 3 times,, lol time for some help :) gotta love pandora jig stick woot

If you use either DCv3 (standalone) or from the joker menu to update to 3.71M33-2 you would have to run the kernel patch from the XMB (psp menu) after you do the update and confirm that you are indeed running 3.71M33-2...The kernel patch is in the package, no need to download it seperately. Make sure you installed in from step #4 of the UPMS cso installer.
