Are you having issues with your other game iso/cso's?
Is the ISO folder in the root of your memory stick? (ie: ms0:/ISO)and not within the ms0:/PSP/GAME or GAME150 folders?

ISO>>>upms
PSP
UPDATE.PBP
1.50.PBP
3.40.PBP
3.70PBP

This is what the root of my ms looks like. I haven't tried playing games on the ms because it is my friends ms, But my ms has games and it plays them fine.

One of your PBP's is wrong, it should be 371.PBP and named like that without the "." so you should have 150.PBP, 371.PBP, you can do away with the 340.PBP.

But download our latest version from our website, we released today.

The link is a couple of posts back or see OverfiendX's sig.

the 3.70 is a typo, but is the only reason that the cso isn't showing up is because I have the 3.70 and 1.50?

I checked and no games show up on my buddies memory stick. What could be the problem?

That's the sort of thing 1.5 firmware does, how big is the CSO and where did you download it from.

If you got it from somewhere other then our official site I would re-download it, then you know you have the correct version and poss not a moddied 1.

the cso is just 130mb and it is miami vice, but also upms doesn't show up either. My cfw is 3.52mm3 and with my ms all of the games show up, but when I use my friends none do. Also, his card isn't fake because magic gate is supported.

So do EBOOTS show?

I don't think that there are any EBOOTs on his psp. just upms.cso in the ISO, and in the root is 150.PBP, UPDATE.PBP and 371.PBP.

I think that my whole problem is just the memory stick for some reason. I'll try and convince my friend to buy a new one from like gamestop because I think that he has store credit.

Thanks for the advice Deez.. :)

But before i try this again....it will definitely work on 3.71ofw slim?? my friends getting a bit nervous and protective of his new slim!!

Also, you say to name firmware files without the extra dot as in guide ie -
you say - 340.PBP
Guide says 3.40.PBP ??

Soz to be a pain, if is was mine i'd keep trying til i figured it out!

Thanks for the help!!!!!!

Yes and Upgrade CFW to either 3.52 m33 or 3.71 M33 inc updates.

PsP#1 : 2.01>3.71M33-4>3.80 M33-5
PsP#2 (Slim) : 3.80>3.90M33-2 All hail the UPMS Stck

340.PBP not 3.40.PBP

Also there is a new release that don't require 340.PBP only 150.PBP and 371.PBP

Backup the Nand of your friends PSP before doing anything. This is really important, because if anything goes wrong this will be the only way to recover it.

Not a problem, and thanks for noticing that typo in the guide-

Just to clarify: The eboots should be named as follows-
UPDATE.PBP
150.PBP
340.PBP
371.PBP

I have corrected this in the original post also for future reference.

Thanks!

I managed to create a UPMS and battery and it works on my friend's PSP Fat. However, it doesn't work on my PSP Slim and Lite that runs 3.71 official. Seeing how other people were having trouble, I was going to start all over and try some other method, so I used the Joker Menu's Pandora Battery Creator and made the battery "normal" again. For some reason though, my friend's PSP won't start up. The light goes on but the screen remains blank. What should I do?

if you want to use the UPMS in slim psp, make sure the DC3 is the active folder.Your slim may turn off depending on what folder is active on memory stick at the time, this is normal for the slim.

If you have either Hellcat or Joker folders active at the time of doing the slim, then the slim will turn off, just remove the battery again, put HOLD back to normal then hold left trigger and insert your battery, this will display the Ultimate Loader menu. From here you can launch DCv3.

If you have the Hold switch on and insert battery while holding Left Trigger it will boot directly to DCv3, but don't forget to put hold switch back to normal otherwise your button presses will not work.

hmm, but that still doesn't answer my main problem... i made the battery "normal" again, but now, i think my friend's psp got fully bricked... i won't ask how i should fix this, but what did i do wrong? i will admit, the wifi switch was on and tried to run DC3 and install 3.71 M33 on the fat before running the 1.50 kernel patch... is that what did it?

are you sure that battery is normal again?
did you backup the eeprom before convert the battery?
if psp automatically on when you pop the battery in,maybe it still in service mode.

i'm sure it's not the battery... there's a eeprom.bin left on my memory stick, the psp said the battery was normal again, it charges, and the psp refuses to turn on after i turned off the psp once. i would test the battery with my psp, but you know what's worse than a bricked psp is two bricked psp's...
