hi guys. originally on my psp with new motherboard i had 2.60 firmware version. then i got interested in modding and i made a foolish move. i had no confidence in my self and gave it to a friend to mod it for me. he updated the firmware to 3.71!!! and in the guides given for new mother board downgrade, i only saw downgrade for 3.52 for the most. how will i be able to downgrade and mod the psp now?

also another thing he did, he tried the pandora battery method and the battery doesnt charge anymore!!! it always shows 0% charge level and doesnt work unless it is connected to the charger. can anyone help me please?

2 things! 1. sounds like your friend doesnt know what hes doing 2. you can still downgrade but you must brick first. unbrick and downgrade using pandoras battery and upgrade to a custom firmware from there most downgraders require you to patch your psp if you have a TA-082 mother board. As far as pandora goes your gonna need another psp that can run homebrew to install your jigkick battery and magic memory stick. until then your gonna need a new battery.

Hey, bro, I had the same problem. Get the Pandora's Battery Creator on yor memorystick. Take out your battery, plug in the psp. Turn on the psp while it is plugged into the wall. Run the Pandoras Battery Creator program. Without turning off the PSP or unpluging it. Put yor battery back in. Then you press square to restore the battery. once it says done., turn off the psp. turn it back on, and all should be normal. :)

oh guys every thing is done i modded it. but still a few things i would like to clarify:

my friend gave me one of his batteries as he messed up mine. is there any way to fix my battery (see post 1)

i have a 4fb mem card and 3.51 custom firmware. i have a few games on the mem. only one of then work. the smallest one, nfs carbon 300+ mb.

but others like gta liberty city stories and also vice city stories, burnout, and few other larger games dont work!! all i see is a blank screen and the psp is still on. i left it on like that for 30 mins. there was still blank screen and no game.
