My young son has a 1gb memory stick for his birthday i have bought him a 4gb. his psp is 1.5 version with 3.52m33 added by me recently which has been great. do i need to do anything special to the psp b4 i put in the memory stick. i am a noob to this thanks for any help

no just put the mem stick in the psp and format it on the psp and format it on fat32 on the comp

what do u mean fat 32. i am new to all this tech stuff and my son is 8yo so we are trying to get through this mine field together

hard as hell when you dont know what your doing eh,
enable usb on your psp instert the mem stick right click your psp drive hit format theres a fat16 and 32 option hit 32
format your mem stick
REMEMBER TO SAVE YOUR SAVEDDATA FOLDER CAUSE ALL THAT IS YOUR SAVED DATA FROM YOUR GAMES.
fat32 sposoninly faster and more reliable, who knows i do it no problem
