I've backed up games for the 360 (when I had a Hitachi, and before they did all the Stealth Patching, and before the iXtreme Firmware), and was wondering if I can back those games up, and inject the Stealth Patch to them? I have a BenQ drive now, and I'm probably going to flash it with the iXtreme!
One other question, if I was banned for playing a backup on Live, would they just ban the system or my Account as well? And, has anyone been banned using the iXtreme Firmware?

they would ban the system and leave your account open.
And yes, you can use any copy program you like to make an ISO from the current backup, then inject the stealth files, and burn it again.

So if my system was banned, I can take my account to another system and get access still? So, I have games that I backed up a long time ago, and want to put the stealth on them! You are saying that I can backup the backup, and just inject the Stealth Patch in it?

That is correct. Rather than you having to spend $50 on a new Xbox Live account you have to spend $400 on a whole new console. So you can see the reason why they did it that way.
And yes, as long as you get the correct stealth files for the region of the game you have you should be able to copy it to the PC as an ISO, Inject the stealth files and create the new ISO, then burn it. Of course you would test it with DVDmulleter before burning it and make sure it all checks out. And DVDmulleter can also check the disc itself if you do not know for sure that the game is stealth or not.

So I've run into a problem! I'm using wxRipper to dump the iso, but for some reason the iso only gets to about 4GB, then it just stops! These are the steps that I follow:
Put 8GB DVD in drive, Find Magic Number, Save Layout, Stop Drive, Hotswap with Game, Change Second C to D in Layout, Spin Drive, Open New Layout, Dump!
I have a Pioneer 111D Drive! I know it works because, when the 360 modding scene first came out, this is how I originally burned games, but I just got back into it!
Is there a better method used to backup games?! I have an ms28 Drive with the iXtreme Firmware! I heard you can use the Drive to dump games if it has the Xtreme Firmware, so I don't know if that will work!
Also, The Blaster 360, if I had that, could I use that to connect the Drive to the PC so I can flash it with the different Firmwares, so that I can backup games, and then just put the iXtreme back on it?

you already have the ISO ripped and on a disc, so you do not need to go through all that again. Just put in your back up and copy the ISO to your PC with Nero, IMGburn or any other program that handles dual layers. It will make an exact copy of what is currently on the disc.
I had a disc that was starting to show some signs of wear (back up disc that is). So i took it and used Nero 7 Ultra Edition and used the disc copy feature to copy it to a new DVD+R DL, and bingo. I had a brand new copy that works perfectly. The ripping is only needed when using the original disc because the PC can not read them without doing it. Once it is a back up copy (ISO) then the PC will have no problems making a new copy.
Now if you are looking to back up original discs then i have only one suggestion. Buy a Samsung drive from Ebay for about $50 and you will save yourself so much trouble. It can read original discs and back them up just as easy as you would back up a CD.
SH-D162C for an IDE conjnection
SH-D163A for an SATA connection
and either it will come pre-flashed with Kreon firmware of you can do it after you get it. Trust me it is worth every penny you pay for it if you plan on backing up games from the original discs.
Hope that gets you what you need.

Ya, that is for my older backups (like Rainbow Six, and Crackdown), but I've got Project Gotham Racing 4, and Stranglehold, and when I use wxRipper to dump those, they get to about 4GB, and then it stops! Some "cylinder check" or something like that comes up, and it just stops there! Do you know what that means?

no, I have the Samsung drive so i have never even looking into the other method. It just seemed way to complicated just to make a back up. Where as the Samsung drives i mentioned flashed with Kreon it is simple, you just put in the disc and copy it, then burn it.
