Pandora battery HELP

so far i formatted and put the required files onto the mem card but when i go to install pandora firm is gives me an error and says game cannot be started...any suggestions on why this may be?????? please help

I am on firmware 3.40 OE-A if that helps

Yes, you need to boot into recovery by turning you psp COMPLETELY OFF (in other words NOT sleep mode). After that, you turn it on again while holding the R-Trigger. Then you will see your recovery menu, go and click on 'Configuration' and then select your GAME kernel and switch it from 3.40 to 1.50 and your apps should work.

inster a UMD in the drive,

i had kernal 3.52 set and it worked fine

then your apps must have been in the GAME150 folder, his are in the game and for most (if not ALL) homebrew it does NOT matter wether you have a UMD in the drive or not.
