Hey guys, I'm new in HTML not in programming.
I keep trying on hot to view excel file in the IE or Firefox.
Is there anyway to do so??
Every time I did, the browser always asked me to open the file using Excel application itself, or save it.

Second question is, How to filter only specific column to view (not all column, example column A, C, and G)

Thanks so much for the help guys.

if you only want certain colums to show then click on the main letter at the top (right click) of the columns you do not want and choose hide. Then you can unhide them at any time they are needed. To unhide it you choose the column letter before it and drag your mouse to the next letter over highlighting both, right click and choose unhide. Example would be you have A,B,& C
You hide column B, to make it show you left click on "A" holding the mouse button down, drag it to "C" and highlight both, then right click and choose unhide.

If you want to send it off and do not want people to be able to modify or unhide anything you can use password protection.

First of all. Thanks for all the response.
I think my question isn't clear enough. Let me rephrase it a bit.
The excel file is form some other website(or server) that you don't have access to their FTP to do any changes.
But they already do have specific columns for items. Lets say,
A = item name,
B = item number
c = item price.
I just wanna show A and C (remember, the excel file is not with me)

If it was my file and out in the public it would be protected as i posted above. Which means that everyone cxould veiw it but not make any changes to it.

Without being able to see it or fool with it i can not really tell you if hiding the column is possible.
