Ok I just bought a japanese psp off a guy... The system settings are 1.52... I upgraded it to 2.0 Japanese version then I tried downgrading it to 1.50... I put the h.bin and index.dat in the PSP folder and the overflow.tif in the Photo folder... When I go to open the overflow.tif the system freezes and then turns itself off... I don't get the weird little screen that you are suppose to get... And the new file that is suppose to show up isn't... Anyone have any suggestions... Let me know... Thanks, Scott

Youll need this downgrader HERE

But First Update to 2.0 by downloading This and naming it UPDATE.PBP and putting it on your PSP/GAME and runnig it on your game menu

..this is a Jp 2.0 update cause u said u got a japenese one..

if you fallow all the steps correctly from this and the downgrader you shoul be on 1.5...oh yeah also u have to check and see if your psp is TA-082 but i dout it

but after ur on 1.5 post and ill tell u the rest

i would try to update to 2.71

and use this downgrader

it`s for ta-082 and it`s more stable then the older ones
so far i know u can use it for non ta-082 boards too(NOT SURE google)
follow the instructions(i used these downgrader and it work`s like a charme)
the readme from the other downgrader makes me scared
the part this has not been tested is strange

Yea, you can if you want, but there's no real difference I've noticed in the Jap vs. US eboot update. B/c I once used a 2.00 update on my old US PSP. It looked and acted teh same to me.
