Putting a old X-ecutor lite + into a new xbox

My old xbox chipped with an X-ecutor lite + came up with a error code 16 after working for over 4 months. I purchased a new xbox and put the chip from the defunct Xbox into the new one. when the Xbox starts it goes to the Xbox screen with the xecutor logo then goes back to the normal xbox dashboard. it never gave me a chance to install slayers, and the xbox will not read the slayer cdrw. Any help please

Error 16 is a dashboard error. You could have most likely fixed your old XBox.

How new is your New Xbox? Some older chips won't work with the newer XBox's.

Thanks for the reply the new Xbox was manufactured on 6/23/03 and is a version 1.3. i guess its too late for that now... i think that the chip will work because it comes up with the xecutor logo, but i just dont know how install the slayers since there was no prompt to do so like the first time i installed the same chip in my first xbox.

If you have the external programmer, you might wanna try an Evox bios instead of the X2 bios.
THe EvoxM7 will work with any version Xbox, just make sure it's the correct size for your chip.
