I have a PSP Slim with 3.71 OFW.
After reading around I found out that I can upgrade my FW to 3.71 M33 using a pandora battery.
I also read that I can't create pandora using a Slim so I need a PSP Fat with 1.50 OFW or any CFW.
My cousin has a PSP fat with 3.40 OFW.
If I upgrade his firmware to 3.50 OFW and then downgrade it 1.50 OFW, I'll be able to create a pandora battery.

My question are:

Should I downgrade the Fat to 1.50 or upgrade it to CFW?
What are the chances of me messing up the PSPs?
Which programs should I use to create the pandora? (I have Despertar del Cementerio v3, do I need anything else?)
After making the Magic Memory Stick, will I be able to use it for videos, pictures, etc.?
Will I be able to use the Pandora Battery as a normal battery?
To make the pandora battery I have to use an official, fat PSP battery and not a 3rd party or slim battery, right?

Sorry, I'm a noob. >.>

Slim to None.
(you have it so yes you need a battery, ill give you the link, keep reading xD)
Yes, you can still use it later.
I am not sure if you hardmod it, if you flash it, then you can flash back to regular battery.
Yes you need an official fat psp battery.

Ok, i have OFW 3.71 on my PSP Slim as well, and i have a soft mod'd pandora battery that i know works (saw it boot to the black and white screen on my friends PSP) but i don't have the memory stick with the files. Could someone provide the files in a zip? Is that possible? I believe i need to partition the memory stick a certain way, anyone know a link to do this without using a PSP fat? I've been searching all night with no results...

If you could send them that would be great. if you have AIM, my name is drakoslerako.

Before when i tried this i would pop the battery in and my PSP would automatically power on but the screen would be blank. I'd try pressing X after a few seconds and nothing. So now i'm trying to get the files back (from you hopefully) and then try this again.

I'm going to use this method :
http://my.afterdawn.com/larrylje_redwings/blog_entry.cfm/2316

So, can I go from 3.40 to any 3.4X+ CFW?
(I'm assuming that I can go from 3.40 to 3.40 OE-A, or any other 3.4X+ CFW.)

Ignore that. :P
After looking around for a bit I found a guide that would make my slim battery into a pandora battery.
I had to open it up and cut a wire. Some smoke came out and I even started a mini fire, but it worked. xD
I have 3.71 M33-2. Thanks anyways. :P
