I want to go to XP.
I can't take it any longer =[

What options do i have?
I'm running vista ultimate on my laptop
and i really don't know what to do.

i've read somewhere about some kind of "zero-wipe format" but i'm not sure if it would get rid of the operating system, or if it would work on vista for that matter.

I want to get back to XP, how can i do that? =[

The easiest way to get ride of Vista would be to format the hard drive (which deletes everything) then install Win XP. You should be able to do this with the Win XP disc.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it

I would just use the Windows XP disc.

All you will need to do it change the boot order to boot the cd or dvd drive. Indicate that you want to install windows. There will be a screen that asks you what partition you want to install windows in. At this point you should be able to delete the current partition, make a new one and format that. Then continue with the install of Windows. There will be on screen instructions as you do this.

If you have any files you want to keep you will need to back them up before you start.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it
