I also have the game edits of the jap intro songs of MMX3 X4 and X5..tnx!

An Update:
Well i tried it myself....and unfortunately it didn't work
this are the results: (sorry no pics)
X3 with jap op song: i was able to watch the whole intro but the music stutters
X4: it stops at a certain point (where the Megaman X4 logo shows up and X suddenly jumps in front to shoot)
X5: it stops as well in a certain point (where Zero was shown in graphical like representation and his internal parts are shown in color green, background is black)
i used a SOny DVD-R (as always) and i have burnt it 6 times already and i get the same exact result, so i am confident to say that it is not caused by burning problems or is it the media i used
Here's what i did:
1. Copied all of the Files in the original MMX Collection to my Drive D (NTFS format, so all files have been copied) using iso buster
2. Opened up folder MMX3, then opened up MOVIR folder, then i copied the 01.PSS file to a separate folder (i Used MMX3 and i placed it in the desktop)
3. I did the same for MMX4 and MMX5. Open MMX4 folder then STR folder then copied OP_U.PSS to MMX4 folder i created in the desktop. Looked for OP.PSS inside MMX5 and copied it to MMX5 folder i created in desktop.
4. Now using PSS Plex, i demultiplexed(process to separate movie and sound) 01.PSS, OP_U.PSS, and OP.PSS into MMX3, MMX4, and MMX5 folders (in desktop) repectively.
5. Each folder in the desktop should now have 3 files the original .PSS and two new files, one should be the movie (ex. in MMX3 01.m2v) and the other is the sound in wav file (ex MMX3 01.wav)
6. then i searched for the web on the game edit versions of the Japanese intro songs of X3 X4 and X5 and luckily i found them. since this files are in mp3 format, i converted it to wav file using the Mp3 to All converter. then using the MFaudio, i opened up converted wav files one by one, first was the jap X3 op song, and i changed the frequency to 48000 Hz to match the characteristics of the original sound file used in the game. Did the same for X4 and X5.
7. Back to MMX3 X4 and X5 folder in desktop, inside each, i created a folder named Original and then i transfered the original sound files there (because you would be renaming the converted jap songs to the same name as the original sound, and you wouldnt want it to be
overwritten)
8. I renamed the converted jap op songs to 01 for MMX3, OP_U for MMX4, and OP for MMX5 and i copied them to their respective folders
9. Each folder now contains 3 files, the movie (.m2v), the Jap op intro in wav file and the original .PSS file and a folder named original (where the orig sound was used for the game)
10. using wave splitter, i took down the length of the original sound (ex. 01.wav from the original folder of MMX3) as a basis for editing the length of jap op song of MMX3. according to the wave splitter, the jap op of MMX3 is longer which is 143871 and the original was 143381, so i had to cut of the jap verison so it matches the length of the original sound used. did the same for X4 and X5.
11. all the is left now is to multiplex (join movie and sound) the movie and the jap versions of the song using PSS PLex
12. Have the newly multiplxed .PSS file renamed exactly the same as that of the original .PSS (it's ok for the original .PSS to be overwritten). do the process for X3 X4 and X5
13. using dKz studios, open each of the new .PSS files. they are working fine and it sounds cool too
14. i replaced the original.PSS files in my drive D (where i copied all the files of the original MMX Collection) with that of the .PSS i created. it will be overwritten.
15. its just a matter of rebuilding the iso using CD/DVD generator to get the IML file and use the gdvd4-iml2iso to create the new iso file.
16. burned it with DVD decryptor at 4x speed using Sony DVD-R (japan)
17. popped up the game and it loads normally, just like it would
18. then in the game i first opened up the MMX3 game, then i listened to the intro, and then i noticed the stuttering sound i mentioned earlier but i was able to finish watching it
19. Tried with X4...it skipped to the point i mentioned, and so did with X5
20. i thought it was a bad burn, so i did it again, same exact results up to my 3rd burn, and no its not my dvd writer nor my DVD-R
21. i thought of watching the .PSS files from the bad burns that i did in my PC and they were working perfectly but when i watch it with my PS2 it stops...i dunno why
i thought maybe because of the difference in file size of the original wav used and the ones that i used (the jap ones), even though they have the same exact length up to milliseconds? and both of their characteristcs (Hz used, length, both 16 bits, both PCM) are exactly the same?
that's the only thing i can think of...
btw here are size of each file:
X3
US (Orig) MMX3 sound (in wav format): 27,529,322
Jap (one i used) sound (wav): 27,529,196
X4
US (Orig): 17,278,058
Jap: 17,278,892
X5
US (orig): 12,774,506
Jap: 12,774,380
there you have it...hope anyone can help because i think the jap op of X3 X4 X5 rocks better than the one used in the US version...
