all i wanted to do today was setup irshell on my psp so i could play games from my pc through wifi
i downloaded irshell.. realized that irshell cant load iso/cso for 3.52 M33-4
so i reinstalled 3.52 M33 to the original firmware without the updates by following these instructions
http://irshell.org/showthread.php?tid=174&;p age=1
there was no problem during the reinstall and i looked to see that it said 3.52 m33 instead of 3.52 m33-4 after i finished so i was very happy..
i restarted my psp a few times to try to get irshell to run my cso and it finally worked when i disabled umd auto-run.
so i played killzone online for a lil bit and after the match. i turned my psp off by holding the power switch.
i wanted to play another game so i turned the psp back on and now its a semi-bricked...
i don't even know WHY its semi-bricked but thats not the main issue.
i found a recovery guide on how i can fix it bcuz i can still enter recovery mode.
i downloaded the recovery files and they are in the right place since it was a automatic installer.
when i start psp.. i scroll down to "run program at /psp/game/recovery/eboot.pbp and NOTHING happens... it does not go black.. the memory stick does not blink.. the screen just freezes and i don't know why.
i know this problem has been fixed before so i hope someone can help
why does "run program at /psp/game/recovery/eboot.pbp" freeze my psp?

was my custom firmware originally messed up from the start so now the recovery doesnt work?
i may be a girl but im not a dummy so help me out,ya?

yea

It Frezes bcause ur supposed to have an update eboot there called "UPDATE.PBP" u culd put a 1.5 eboot in "/psp/game/recovery/eboot.pbp"

and then run it and it should not freeze it shall downgrade to 1.5

wnd then u can just go back up to ur custom firmware

U can get the 1.50 eboot from here

and an easy upgrader and downgrader from here but used this after ur on 1.5

if you go with this i suggest u go to 3.40 0e-a first and then go to 3.52 m33...i did that like 6 times before and its easier to run the M33 creator when ur on 3.40 oe-a than 1.50

tell me of this helps??

You where correct the first time. The 1.50 EBOOT should be renamed to UPDATE.PBP

@dookie007

Go HERE and download this recovery folder. Then delete the Recovery folder you have placed in /PSP/GAME folder and then drag the extracted recovery folder above to /PSP/GAME all the files needed are there.

Then go into recovery mode and try running RUN GAME AT /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP
