Software needed for Homebrews??

I'm currently using 3.52m33-4 previously was 1.5...every homebrew i downloaded wont read for some reason i have 3 game folders this is where i get confused .GAME.GAME150.GAME352. which do i put homebrew in. and if i do need software what do i need. THANK YOU

make sure ur psp is set to 1.5 kernel in recovery mode.put all the homebrews in the GAME150 folder,if it doesnt work try GAME folder.hope tht helps...

simple..
1)if ur kernel is 3.52. throw all ur homebrew into GAME150
2)if ur kernel is 1.50, throw all ur homebrew to GAME
3)if in either case it does not work.. throw it into GAME352
in most of the cases option 1 OR 2 can solve the problem

ok im slightly confused i got 2 diff responses so if its set to 1.5 in recovery mode i put in 150 folder?...and is there a way to play FF7 crisis core iso, it shows in game list in memory card when i put in iso folder but when i try to play it shuts down my psp

You sure you havn't got that wrong?
1)If your kernel mode is set at 1.50, then place your homebrew in GAME150
(Same as luffypsp said)

i currently have a homebrew FFVII in my 150 folder and im using 150 in the restore menu. might be because of the game maybe not but when i go to specific sites for homebrew NOTHING works no games at all they either dont show up/corrupted/or shut down after i try to load. if you can give me an example of a working homebrew for 3.52m33-4 please let me know. AND what is recommended kernel i have nothing in mind to help me choose one over the other dont know the diff

Recommended kernel is 1.50, as for working homebrew; pretty much anything you can find on dl.qj.net

it seriously works the way i said it
1.50 kernel in GAME folder
and 3.52 kernel in GAME150 folder <--- that is if the homebrew needs 1.50 kernel

Yes, but that's what the GAME150 folder is all about isn't it? Games for 1.50 kernel, therefore set to 1.50 kernel mode...
Therefore the GAME352/371 folder would actually have a purpose, for things with a higher kernel, i give up -.-
Someone needs to enlighten me.

this talk makes me confuse.but i think we should try any of each until the homebrew is working,so we dont have to really care which one is correct r8??

okok let me try to make myself clearer
if u are on kernel 1.50. and ur homebrew requires 1.50, then u put that in the GAME folder
if u are on kernel 3.52, and ur homebrew requires 1.50, then u put that in the GAME150 folder
if u are on either while ur homebrew requires either, u can just put it in the GAME folder
if u are on kernel 1.50 but ur homebrew requires 3.52, then u put that in the GAME352

Hmmm, that seems very odd to do it backwards.
All i know is i put all my stuff in GAME150 with kernel 1.50 and it works fine ^.^
