HI All,
I'm trying to unzip some file but everytimes when it had go through halfway,it prompt that it cannot be done as the FAT 32 is under 4 gig but the file that i'm trying to extract is more than 4gig.Is there any other way hat i can do.please help.

FAT32 drives will not allow you to write a file larger tha 4GB to it. There are two ways to fix this. You can reformat the drive into NTFS or you can partition your FAT32 drive, and set the partition to NTFS. XP Pro has it's own partitioning software or you can get a third party software like Partition Magic.

if i set the partition to NTFS,will all my data gone?is there any guide on how to set it?

You'll be converting the FAT32 file system to NTFS by this command:

Start, run, type in:

convert c: /fs:ntfs

Press Enter...

Note: in the above, "c" is the partition windows is installed to, but you can change that to whatever drive/partition you need converted.

and to add to the above change to NTFS by Morph416 (which i would do), no you will not lose any of your data if done that way.
