k, guys.
So this is the same as the metroid trick, ill repost it incase youve forgotten it!

So here's what you do
1. Updated the iso with RegionFrii.
2. Burned the dvd iso @ 18x speed on a Verbatim -R disc via Nero 7.
3. Wrote SMG [RegionFrii] on the disc once it was finished burning
4. Updated the already updated RegionFrii iso with BrickBlocker.
5. Burned once again the iso @ 18x speed on an other Verbatim -R disc via Nero 7.
6. Wrote SMG [BrickBlocker] on the disc once it was finished burning.
7. Inserted the RegionFrii one into the Wii. Ran from Disc Channel. It wanted to do a update, press OK and then I Accept. Then it will load REALLY slow. When it has loaded for 10-15% I removed the powercable to the Wii.
8. I then reinserted the powercable and started the Wii. Then I took out the RegionFrii disc, and inserted the BrickBlocker disc.
9. Viola, the game works like a clock and there are NO EXTRA TWO CHANNELS! :)

I personally havnt done this of fear of something going wrong when unplugging the wii in the update but MANY people on that forum say it works.

Anyone that tries it please post here to say what happened. I didnt make it, im just trying to help out those who want galaxy!

Would it not have been easier and safer to have just burnt SMG with WiiBrickBlocker and play it as is since WBB removes the auto update? Is there a reason why you have to use the SMG auto update which I am unaware of?

I had a quick google search to see if any PAL users were having problems with SMG with WiiBrickBlocker working but nothing concrete, only found one person on a torrent site, claiming to have upgraded their WiiKey to 1.9g, WiiBrickBlocked SMG and it not working.

All the PAL posters in the SMG thread seem to not use WiiBrickBlocker and semi-bricking their Wiis with duplicate channels so I don't have a second opinion. I'm still waiting for a non-beta version of 1.9g before I start testing it out myself, by that time PAL SMG will probably be out, so no worries on my end, hehe.

Just checked the SMG thread again and I guess it does need the update to get the game working, ah well, no harm, no foul.

I've got a Wii PAL with Wiikey - updated to 3.1E.
I've updated to 1.9g as well.

Do you think if I run SMG NTSC will have a problem as well (with semi brick, etc)?

Please advise. Thank you.
