The reason why I ask this question is because I want to know if my wiikey is fake. I got mines from Linker4u.com and wanted to know if anyone else has bought theirs from this website and if they are having problems with the wiikey updates. I have bought products for them before for my ds and it seems that the products are legit. And one more thing, when I was soldering on the wires for my wiikey on my motherboard, one of the points came off so I directly solder the wire to the chip, so I don't know if this plays a factor or not.
I would appreciate the help,
thanks.

Did it come with a Wiikey Hologram Sticker? If it did, then it it most likely real.

That was the first thing I noticed and it didn't have one. But before I ordered I checked with multiple forums about if the website was legit for hours on end. It seemed legit, well I guess I screwed myself, but anyhow I'll probably get another wiikey from the wiikey.cn website. DAMMITT!!!!

Did the chip you buy from them turn out to be fake?

To simOnster,
There are a few reasons why I asked this question and here they are:
1. It did not come with a hologram sticker
2. The new updates (1.9b and 1.9g) do not work
so I was trying to verify the chip with other people who bought the chip from this website. But here is the thing all my backups work besides Super Mario Galaxy, and I have backups of games that came after Galaxy that work. On that note, people are saying that wiikeys are the clones are pretty much the same, so I'm lost here. Trying to get this thing to work fully.

I see...I was going to buy the chip from there, but wasn't sure it was real and can be upgraded...Thanks for the reply. I will investigate and keep you posted as well :)
