New game requires 3.51 firmware... can I use 3.51 M33?

I just got a new game today and I'm on 3.50 firmware, the game wants me to upgrade to 3.51 and I'm like, "Hell no, I still want to downgrade to 1.50 eventually." So is there a way to go from 3.50 (official) to 3.51 (custom/homebrew) and still have the option to go back to 1.50 through Pandora's Battery?

just wait till after u use pandora to go to 1,5 then just go up to 3.52 M33 or 3.71 M33

Or you can use the Lumines game to downgrade to 1.5. Make sure its the un-patched version though...
