PAR and RAR

Alright guys, i kinda roughly know hat RAR files are and what i gotta do with them, but what are PAR, i just intalled quickPAR, kinda know i gotta drop files into it that arnt RAR, and click create, what do i have to do with that file then, ?

Im still a n00b aswell but par files repair the files that are broken.

just click on what ever the file name is here .vol000+01.PAR2 and it will run through par and repair the files that need to be repaired.

Its pretty straight forward.
