NBA Live or NBA 2K8???

Ok, to start this is not a debate on which game is better or not. To me each game is unique and has it's own idea. I start this thread in the hopes that I can have more information about both games before I go spending $65 bucks and then not liking the game. If some one played the games please I would like to know.
1- Is NBA 2K8 the same (graphic wise) as last year or have they been downgraded like the one I saw on PS3???
I actually played NBA 2K8 on PS3, and though the graphics were downgrade bigtime, but are they the same for the Xbox 360???

A buddy of mine said NBA 2K8 looks better on the 360. Someone else I know has Live 08 and NBA 2K8, he said that Live 08 looks a little better but that NBA 2K8 plays way better. I've played both and would say that NBA 2K8 is better in my opinion.

Cool!! I was seeing some videos of NBA 2K8 on IGN and it looks better on the Xbox

I have both and I like NBA Live better this year....
NBA 2K8 got a higher rating but the graphics are better on Live
and the game play is not bad at all...

I have NBA 2K8, NBA LIVE 2008, AND NBA 08: The Life Vol.3
but on ps2....
the best is nba 2k8 then nba live 2008 and last nba 08(but its fun to play it)

I have all the NBA games, get NBA Live 08 because they added the team play(like 2 months ago via XBL update) where you can have other people as teammates, it's COOL.

LOL, oh please, I have both, it's about the same, except Live calls more offensive fouls. Team play blows 2K8 away. Sorry Skippy that you made the wrong choice buying 2K8 and you're trying to convince yourself it's better than Live.

I have played both. Live 08 first at a cousins house and then when i bought my xbox 360 i bought nba2k8 just b/c the reviews give it a higher score on every major gaming magazine and website. Glad i did. It does play better. I have been a NBA Live supporting for years even though the reviews have been better with 2k8 for the last couple of years. Glad i keep it real enough to be unbiased and gave NBA 2k8 a try. Here is a little secret. NBA Live is only selling more d/t is popularity and name. NBA 2K8 is a better game.
