i need a passkey for my rom ver 0079FL hitachi and am hearing some scary stories about some people not getting their passkeys for like 2 months after they ordered. so has anyone purchased one from a website with good luck as far as getting within say 2 weeks?

also if i wait for a few months does anyone think that there might be a program out to flash the 0079fl without a passkey or is there no way to get around using one period?

I bought my passkey 79 at www.foundmy.com, they are from USA. Got mine a few days ago here in Puerto Rico in like 2 weeks via USPS. I think they delayed the order thats why it took 2 weeks. I haven't installed the passkey yet though.

Hey guy's.

I bought my passkey from here. But am having some problems getting it going. Just wondering which sata card you guys are using?

I am having problems with my Silicon 3112 controller, it says on the page I bought it from that the recommended boards to use are Nforce, but I only have the 3112 card.

Can get the drive into mode b no problem, but I can't seem to read or write to the drive.

Just wondering what other people are using, maybe I can buy another type of sata card from somewhere. Any advice would be great. :)
