Sorry if this has been brought up before, but I haven't kept up with the latest news from day one.

When the 360 first came out, I understand some drives were "preferred" over others because they were easier to flash.

Now that the 360 has been out for some time, it appears almost all (if not all) are flashable. Is this true, or are there some units that should be avoided or can't be flashed?

Sorry if this has been asked or discussed before, but alot of the information I've been able to find on my own is old news - and I was curious to know if there were new units to stay away from if one was interested in purchasing a 360 and flashing the drive (no other modification intended, i.e. no chips, etc.) TIA

All drives are flashable. The Hitachi 79 needs a mod chip installed before it can be flashed.
