Help trying to get CFW on psp slim...

I have a Pandora's battery. But the stick i have wasnt working for the slim(magic stick). What do i need to download to the memory stick to get the battery to work?

Well you can at this time, but to downgrade you are going to need to do the battery part eventualy.

i skipped the battery part. it all went well. upgraded straight to 3.71m33 not 3.7m33-2. . But the psp loads pass the playstation screen then goes to the menu screen stays there doesnt load anything then shuts off. what did i do wrong?

i was expecting to be able to use my psp. it doesnt allow me to anyting. just the time and date come up. none of the other menus. then shuts down by iteself

yes. it loads the time. doesnt show load the settings xmb stuff. just the time then after couple seconds it shuts down

i cant run pandora battery app either. giving me a "the game could not be started (8002014c)" error. im running 3.71 m33-2 phatty.

I dunno, try using THIS easy installer because someone else told me they had problems with that.

This usually happens when you have a custom XMB installed on the PSP that is creating the Magic memory Stick.

If you have a PTF theme loaded or you have flashed a custom theme to flash0 then you will need to uninstall/recover flash0 to the original theme before creating the Magic memory Stick.

You also said it only installed 3.71 there is options to install 3.71 official or 3.71 M33 which will install 3.71 M33-2.

should i try to re do the mem sitck? Uninstall the custom theme? i did the 3.71 m33. there wasnt a option to do 3.71 m33-2

The menu gives you an option for 3.71 official or 3.71 M33 but the 3.71 M33 actually installs 3.71 M33-2

When I say to uninstall the custom theme I am talking about the PSP that your using to create the Magic Memory Stick. Make sure you haven't installed a PTF theme or flashed a theme to flash0. If you have you need to uninstall it and use the normal theme to create the Magic Memory stick.

i get two options offcial sony 3.71 and 3.71 m33 (doesnt say m33-2) i applied the original sony theme (took off the custom one) and it went thru. Even though the installer says 3.71 it installs 3.71 m33-2. thanks for your help!
