I could actually pass on COD4! It's just like COD3, but the weapons are modern day! Woopdeedoo!!! There are going to be better games than that!

Played for a couple hours yesterday, it's pretty good. Online is even better...EXCEPT... it doesn't offer co op. I tried signing my buddy in and there's no option. COD3 had 4 player co op.
Graphically it is alot better. I don't know how to describe it other than it feels more like a 3d environment than the previous games.

I agree with bhetrick the best part of this game is playing online. It actually feels diffrent than other games, I'm don't know what words to use to describe. Playing the solo missions kind of suck but It's definatly worth playing online.

I'm all about the solo missions as well as multiplayer.
I get COD4 in a couple hours!

Maybe I'll try it on the PS3! I'm saving money for that right now, so I really can't spend any money! And when Assassins Creed Comes out, I'm going to be BROKE (because Mario Galaxy comes out the day before)!

I played the beta and was not all that impressed really. I think Rainbow Six Vegas blows it away. Looking more forward to F.E.A.R. files, Blacksite Area 51, and Kane & Lynch myself as far as shooters go.

F.E.A.R looks almost like time shift in a way. where you can pause and slow down the time.

IGN had a nice review of of the Kane & Lynch multiplayer. It sounds like they're bringing something new to the table. I am looking forward to it.
I just finished Timeshift on the Skilled mode and it is WAY too easy. Even more so when you aquire the Thunderbolt. It isn't a 10, but it did keep my attention... so I'd recommend it. Rent it, though... don't buy it.

wow i cant believe some people arent impressed by CoD4 ...
it doesnt have all the extra commands and tools that vegas does (like the snake cam) but it is a great shooter ... AI (offensive and defense) is far superior then any other shooter i played ... only thing i dont like is the amount of time u have to get a dog off u if u get tackled ...
this game jus seems like it has more substance and depth then the leading FPS's ... its more immersing ...

well COD 3 and 2 were fun, but 4 is just not somthing im going to pick up from the local game dealer....but rather find my own ways to obtain it....
IMHO COD and MOH installments are way better on a PC.....the platforms are too limited. no console to open.
also the gameplay is going to be the same as all the other ones. jump out a plane, crash land and unload your clip....im more involved in halo series for xbox.

no no no ... trust me this edition has way more depth ...
i owned all CoD games for ps2 and 360 and honestly this edition is way more immersive ...not jus a cool little cinematic cut scene then ur thrown into battle ... there is often times where u are actually in limited control during a cut scene - there are times when u have to carry an injured soldier with u to the extraction point - ud have to set him or her down and secure the area before entering - they will also watch ur back if enemies are approaching - also - u not only do battle on the field but u do so in the helicopters too - i hate these parts of games but i enjoyed the way CoD4 pulled this off - especially the night vision one over the village ...
with out giving away spoilers - its hard to explain why CoD sets itself apart from the previous edition while ALSO setting the bar jus a little higher for war shooters ... but trust me this one is worth the buy - IGN rated it a 9.5 - check out their review - im sure they'd be more convincing ...

yeah the enemy is very smart in this one ... many times i cleared a room and posted up in the window only to have an enemy run around the side of the building and flank me from the back door while his boys rush through the front door ...
they'll even sick the dogs on u tryin to flush u out of where ur hidin ... shit is crazy ...

F.E.A.R. has been out on the 360 for about a year now. F.E.A.R. files is just the expansions packs that were released previously for the PC version.
Extraction Point and Perseus Mandate
From what i read the expansions are not quite as good as the original but if your a fan of the game you will still enjoy them.
and it was released as stated above Tuesday November 6th

i just finished my cod4. man the game is so short. i believe they only have like 7 levels or something. wish they could have made it longer. anyhow, i heard that the fear files game is out but they dont have any backup torrents anywhere.. i tried googling it. it seems like no one made a backup out of it.

I dont like like CoD4,played it twice and thats it.As for the Fear torrent theirs one on xbox-sky
