Was just curious as to how some of you guys can download so many games. The average 360 game is like 7.5 gigs. I dont know about anyone else, but my download limit is only 60 gigs per month. I've just downloaded 8 games in 2 days which means I'm almost at my limit and its only Nov 4 lol... if a new game is released this month I'm screwed and cant download it lol

Yeah, unlimited downloads/uploads here too. 10 down / 5 up but it's cheap enough.

I was using Verizon DSL here in NW PA and downloading from their servers for awhile, but they started throttling. So I switched to Time Warner's RoadRunner cable and everythings great. On average, I probally only download 15 gigs a week, so not a whole lot, but I got no complaints whatsoever.

The UK and Australia get screwed with download limits. It's pretty much as much as you want in the US and quite a few other European countries. I'm in the US and probably average about 200GB a month, but I hit a little over 400GB one month. It's generally better to have DSL over cable if you are a heavy downloader (over 100GB a month), because DSL companies don't care how much of your bandwidth you use. Cable company often have some type of limits and will contact you if you go over them.

Interesting, I've never heard that. I have Comcast cable internet (6mbps download) and I get throttled like hell. It's no fun spending 3 days to download a 2 or 3 gig torrent.

It's all screwy with Comcast. If you download way more than everyone if your neighborhood you may stand out and could get a warning letter. If many in the neighborhood have the same high download habits then maybe no letter will be sent. Look at all that comes up by Googling "comcast warning letter".

btw here's a link that supposed to show you how to get around Comcast's throttling on torrents. I haven't looked into myself since I have DSL.
