Hello I downloaded the ultimate black theme for one reason. That reason is to get the theme. You know the black background with the cool stripes on the right. But every time I replace the image with the on in the resource file it works except all the XMB icons are white blocks. i am on CFW 3.52 M33 thats why I just want to use the image because the rest doesn't work. So could someone please explain why and help me out.

Thank you
Max

When I go there, there are no other themes. Theres just one theme which is a white square and when I choose that one I get the theme (01-12.bmp) that I desire but when I go down to choose a different theme there is none, it just turns completely white and I can barely read anything. I still don't understand how and why there can be a glitch from a simple .bmp file.

Thank you for the help so far. I hope we can get to the bottom of this.

Max

Try re-flashing the files across and then go to theme settings and select the theme

It doesn't do anything, I have re-flashed that file (01-12.bmp) plenty of times always the same thing. White squares fro icons and no other theme. Maybe I have to add some other component e.g. topmenu_plugin.rco.
I hope not.

Did you put all the theme files into Flash0 that came with the theme?

What do you mean. Are there other files that I have to put it for it to work ? All I wanted was the 01-12.bmp image.

You have to put all of the files that came with the theme in, if you just want the background then put it into X:\PSP\IMAGE\ or PHOTO or whatever the folder is called and set it as background wallpaper
