Bioshock backup skipping

Hi all,
I have backed up my copy of Bioshock same as all my other games however the backup is very skippy and jumpy. The gameplay will freeze for 3-5 seconds, whilst the sound continues and then the gameplay will skip forwards. This happens every couple of minutes or when something else moves in the background.
Is this just a bad burn or are others having the same problem?

more info.... what dvd in use? how did you burn? ect. ect.
i have herd of your problem and mosly because of bad media.

It is burnt on a verb, at 2X,
Exactly the same brand, speed and process as I have backed up all my other games.
I was just wondering if there may have been more serious problems eg the laser etc.
However the fact that all of my other games are fine just made me wonder if it was Bioshock specific or if it was just a dodgy dvd.

If all your other back ups's work fine then you just got a bad burn. I would do another copy. If it was not made from an original i would also get a different version of the game from another release group in case it was just the copy that you got. And if you use a 6X max disc i would set the burn speed to 4X.
