hi im new here i was looking trough the web when i saw this website and joined
i have white psp with version 2.6 ( TA-082) it was recently broken sort off because i had the version 3.04 OE-A and i wanted to put a theme on my psp and the kinda forgot to make a copy of the recovery and added and deleted some files which turned in to a black screen
only being able to open recovery i put in a recovery pack so it would work again and it did it returned to 1.5 though and i wanted to listen music so i was stupid enough to use the network update to 2.6 and now im stuck here
can someone help me turn my 2.6 into 2.71 so i can get higher versions like 3.04?

i already downloaded the 2.71 upgrade but its caleld 8046_EBOOT.pbp and i dont know if i should rename it an what fold to put it in... cause i put it in psp/game/ but all it says is broken file....

Didn't you put the EBOOT.PBP at PSP\GAME\UPDATE?

Try renaming it to only EBOOT without the .PBP part and see if it works.

That's 'cause you need to run devhook on HEN-D or go to CFW.
