new psp slim with official fw 3.6 how to make it CFW.

I have a new psp slim with official firmware. how can i make it to Custom FW. need some help..

there is no straight installation of custom firmware for the psp slim.

you will need pandora's battery and the universal unbricker memory stick to put 3.71 m33-2 onto the psp slim.

When i put the pandoras in the psp slim nothings happen. only a black screen.

the memory stick must either be the 3.60 m33 memory stick (blind install), or the universal unbricker v3 memory stick. original mms with the 1.50 downgrader WILL NOT work on the psp slim.

I already tried the guide Universal Unbricker DC-3 + MS Multi IPL Loader. but when im on the hellcat part when it exyt to the XMB part it says that the memory stick cannot read it need to format in systemsetting.

you can't use that guide because it requres a psp with custom firmware already.


google for totalnewbi installer. it's a straightforward program that will make the universal unbricker memory stick.

well then, that makes things easier.

if it says that it needs to be formatted, then do it. but make sure you copy the contents of the memory stick if it's your only one.


i created mine using the original install method Dark_AleX provided. if you have created the original magic memory stick before, then creating the universal unbricker memory stick will be easy; only can be done on winXP.

i already install it but when i start the psp theres no icon or any thing just the theme, the clock and the battery. then it turns off.
