Hi, I am totally new to all this, I just bought the Daxter package Slim PSP. I wanted to modify it so that I can play downloaded games and such. I see allot of talk about different types of firmware and stuff, but it's a bit confusing. I would just like a step by step approach, or even better of somebody could help along the way. Thanks!!

haha. sorry i forgot the explanation

if u want to play downloaded games, u have to be on custom firmware

if u are currently on sony official firmware, u have to downgrade to sony version 1.50 and then upgrade it to a custom firmware

the essential step for downgrading to 1.50 would be pandora battery?

It doesn't matter, it has to be 3.60 - 3.72 so Pandora is the only way.
