Hey guys, i have a copy of nhl2k8 on my hard-drive, problem is its NTSC (american), and im PAL (uk)

Is there anyway of changing it so it works on my 360,

no, Xbox 360's are not region free even when they are modded. Unless the game is region free it will not play.
May i ask how you have an NTSC copy on the harddrive of a PAL machine? Did you download the wrong region?

i got the file from newzbin, it never had anything about the region of it, so when it eventually downloaded it came up as NTSC.

that may help you in the future. If it will play on both PAL & NTSC consoles you will not have to worry about the region, if not then find one that says what region it is so you can get the correct file you need.
