IM a moron and can't get this modding /iso burn thing to work! please help

Im having troubles getting my wii game backups to work. So far i have installed my wiikey and when i run normal games everything is fine. I burn a game and it won't read it. It will read the wiikey config 1.2b and the 1.3 that i burned as well as the update 1.9. SO because it can read those and play normal games i figure my wiikey install is good. but when i put in a burnt game it won't read it. what i am doing to burn is using utorrent to download a (iso)torrent from online. when that is done i use winrar to get into a single iso folder, then i burn it using Imgburn. I an using Verbatim DVD-R to burn and have a new comp with a good burner. I have looked online to find solutions but can't. can someone who knows what they are doing help me(who doesn't know what i am doing) fix this problem PLEASE!!!!!!

Burn slow.....
At about 2-2.4x
I personally use clone CD.
Also...try different media.
Verbatim is usually great but at least remove all other factors of your problem before taking the wii apart again.
