There is no one I know that has a psp with custom firmware(I only know 2 person my mom and my friend both on 3.51 Offical firmware)

I can't create a pandora batter without someone, do you think they'll ever work around that so we don't need a hacked psp to create a pandora battery or remove the need of such a battery?

*sighs* I really want a custom firmware, I'm fed up of all those restrictions.

I will Always be there

i dont think there will be a stand alone

it seems that pandora is the greatest break through and we are still living in the world it created for us

many variations of unbricker/magic mstick has appeared though

i would like to bring ur notice to: it is now possible to get a jig kick battery by hardmodding it and installing magic mstick via windows

would u give it a try?

nope. anything 3.51 and higher will need pandora's battery. i doubt there will be a game exploit because pandora works on all current firmware.

like btjl90 said, you have to hardmod the battery to get a pandora's battery. it's only recommended for pros because it can make the battery a permanent pandora's battery, if you don't resolder the pin.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

If I try to hardmod my battery and cut that pin...

I'd really need to know if its possible to remove the board from the battery so I can't short it while cutting the pin.

If that's possible then I'm pretty sure I could do it.

don't think it's possible. all the pics are with the board still on the battery. if you remove the board, you probably will destroy the whole battery

How so?

I checked on one of my dead psp battery, I removed the board(to understand how its made)
and well there was only small metal "sheet" linking the board and the battery.

So If I remove the board, cut the pin then put in back in and put the "sheet" back together, why wouldn't it work? :/

I'd really need an answer on this before I try it.

EDIT: The real problem is, I have yet to find something small enough, resistant and non-metallic object to cut the pin off.
Any ideas?

I have a solution: Diamond!

There aren't many non-metallic items that are stronger than metal just lying around, though you could probably just rip the pin with a piece of plastic if you tried hard enough ^.^
