Ok so ive had a PSP for a very long time and finally decided to check out all this buisness with homebrews and custom firmwares, so im very new to all of this, and i must say they kick so much ass! But i do have some questions which i have decided to relay to you good people in a stupid number format that i hope you can help me with :) And for the record, i originally ran 3.71 m33, and for reasons i will explain later i am currently running 3.52 m33-4

1. PSX eboots and POPSLOADER: Ok i currently have a few PSX games on my memory card (FF7, MGS, Resident Evil 1,2,3 to be exact) and am looking for a little personal input. This is my dilemma, in trying to run Resident Evil 2 and 3, it seems they cannot be run on 3.71 (i got RE2 to run on 3.52 properlly after changing the gameid code as i read in some other posts, havent really tested RE3 and that is why i downgraded from 3.71) but FF7 runs much better under 3.71, during battles there is this framerate drop when entering them when im running 3.52 (does anyone else experience this?), so after being spoiled with 3.71 its hard not to notice these performance hiccups, my question is is there a better fw version i should try loading ff7 under through POPSloader (what does everyone else use to run FF7?). Would it be possible to somehow be running 3.52 and have popsloader launch 3.71 (far off thinking since i read popsloader wont work under 3.71, maybe they can do the opposite)?

Also i ripped my own copy of MGS and am having audio glitches regardless of whay fw version im running, during the codec calls the audio is out of sync with the pictures and the text just slightly were it is barely noticeable except for when the calls are somewhat longer, it seems to get progressivly worse (like during the first Meryl call, at one point the text got so far ahead of the audio that the audio just stopped and i had to click through it). Does this happen to everyone or do you think it was a bad rip? Or maybe something else i should try to fix this?

2. IRShell: I have only tested this with MGS Portable Ops and GTA Vice City Stories (both my physically owned UMD's) and i cant switch back and forth between the shell and the UMD game with GTA, it just freezes when i go back to the game. MGS PO runs fine but its frustrating when i think maybe i didnt install it correctly or something like that, anyone have any insight or suggestions?

3. And lastly im very new to this stuff, all i really know that CFW's alow you to do is run PSX and PSP backups, as well as other homebrew apps, but i cant seem to find a list of all the really popular ones, what are some other things i can do with this as im sure im missing out on some cool apps and features.

If you read this far, thanks for reading my long ass drawn out post and any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Well with the release of 3.71 m33-3 my psx problems have been solved thanks DAX! Although MGS still has that sound glitch. Has anyone got the new popsloader to work in IRSHell ver 3.7? It works fine in the XMB which is cool though. Also im still having that glitch with GTA and IRShell, is this a common bug?
